Totnes Festival
 

Aim: to organise an annual festival which would be a celebration of the Town's unique culture, fascinating heritage and beautiful environmental setting, of interest to visitors and the local community alike. 

A small committee was formed in 2006 to develop the inaugural Totnes Festival in September of that year. It was a great success.

The fsixth Totnes Festival took place in September 2011 and was equally successful, with local groups, companies and people putting on, and enjoying, a varied programme of more than 100 events. Organisers run their own events independently, but are able to take advantage of the shared promotion of the Festival, including advertising in a Festival brochure with a print run of 15,000 copies.

The committee has started to plan for next year's festival and would welcome comments or offers to help to ensure that 2012's event is even better.
